Position Description
At CGI, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Junior HR Consultant, you'll begin an exciting career in Human Resources within our Global Business Services Hire to Retire team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, eager to learn and wants to continue to build a long-term career in HR. You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, support colleagues and leaders across the UK, Australia and Ireland, and gain hands-on experience while developing valuable HR knowledge and skills.

This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities
You'll support the delivery of HR services while learning from experienced colleagues and developing your expertise. From answering HR queries to supporting employee lifecycle activities, you'll play an important role in delivering a positive colleague experience.

You'll also have opportunities to improve processes, build relationships across the business and take ownership of your own development.
You'll:
- Support day-to-day HR queries and people processes.
- Assist with absence management and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems.
- Work closely with HR teams, payroll and key stakeholders.
- Help improve HR processes and services.
- Support HR system testing and process changes.
- Handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
We're looking for previous HR experience. If you're enthusiastic, organised and keen to continue building a career in HR, we'll provide the support and development to help you succeed.
You'll bring:
- Experience as a Junior HR consultant
- A genuine interest in a career in Human Resources.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to develop.
- Professionalism when handling confidential information.
A CIPD qualification (or a willingness to study towards one) is welcome but not essential.
