Junior HRIS Analyst
Birmingham | Hybrid – 3 days in the office | Up to £33,000 | Fixed-term, minimum 12–18 months
The Role
You'll join an HRIS team supporting the day-to-day operation and improvement of the business's HR systems, with a particular focus on employee data, reporting and system support.
A key part of the role will be building your knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, alongside working with Workday. You'll help maintain accurate employee data, carry out data validation and cleansing, support reports and dashboards, and assist with system updates and testing.
You'll also work with HR colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve system and data queries, contribute to process improvements and help maintain documentation and user guides.
The role includes supporting the transition of employee data onto SAP SuccessFactors, giving you the opportunity to develop practical experience of HRIS work within a large organisation.

What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate employee data across Workday and SAP SuccessFactors
- Carrying out data entry, validation, checking and cleansing
- Supporting standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and data analysis
- Assisting with system updates, testing and enhancements
- Supporting SAP SuccessFactors updates between the UK team and the international HRIS team
- Developing into a subject matter expert on SAP SuccessFactors
- Helping resolve HR system and data queries
- Supporting audits and data quality checks
- Contributing to improvements in HRIS processes and reporting
- Helping create system documentation, training materials and user guides
- Providing administrative and analytical support across HR/HRIS projects
What we're looking for
You don't need extensive HRIS experience for this role. What's more important is that you're comfortable working with data, have strong attention to detail and are keen to learn.

- Experience working with data in an administrative, HR or analytical environment
- Experience using Excel or similar tools for handling data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using IT systems and learning new technology
- Good organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A professional approach to handling confidential information
- The ability to work collaboratively with others
