OneSchool Global UK is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team based at our Regional Support Office in Coventry. Supporting our network of campuses across the UK, you'll play an important role in helping to maintain, support and improve the technology that enables our staff and students to thrive.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious IT professional with a solid technical foundation who is looking to broaden their skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, security, automation and infrastructure projects, whilst working alongside experienced infrastructure specialists.
About the Role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and administration of OneSchool Global UK's IT infrastructure. You will provide 2nd line support, assist with infrastructure projects and technology rollouts, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure our systems remain secure, reliable and available across our schools and support offices.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide 2nd Line Infrastructure Support across core systems, cloud services, networks and servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Support the Service Desk by acting as an escalation point for more complex technical issues.
- Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions.
- Escalate major incidents where appropriate and work collaboratively to drive resolution.
Infrastructure Operations
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure performance, availability and security.
- Support the management of Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud-based technologies.
- Assist with user, device and security administration activities.
- Work within change control processes and established IT governance standards.
- Contribute to maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support infrastructure projects, deployments, migrations and technology rollouts.
- Assist in delivering improvements aligned to the organisation's IT roadmap.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practice.
- Share knowledge and collaborate positively with colleagues across the IT team.
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, eager to learn and enjoys solving problems while delivering excellent service to end users.
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- Experience working within an IT support, systems administration or infrastructure environment.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a Microsoft environment.
- Strong understanding of customer service and IT support principles
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Microsoft Defender
- PowerShell scripting
Desirable
- Barracuda Backup and Email Security experience.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI technologies.
- Microsoft certifications.
- IT-related degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2+ years' commercial IT experience.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Adaptable and able to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undertake training and continuously develop technical knowledge.
- Flexible to undertake occasional travel to campuses across the UK and occasional out-of-hours work when required.
