Role Overview

As a Network Engineer, you'll help build, support, and automate enterprise network infrastructure using modern networking technologies, Python, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll work alongside cloud, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network services while gaining hands-on experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Please note: Flexibility to relocate may be required

What You’ll Do

  • Build, support, and automate enterprise network infrastructure using modern networking principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop Python scripts and AI-assisted automation to reduce manual tasks, improve reliability, and streamline operations.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise large-scale network environments using enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
  • Collaborate with cloud, security, and engineering teams to deliver resilient, secure, and highly available network services.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, network automation, AI-powered tools, and software-defined networking within a global banking environment.

How the Alumni Program Works

  • Complete our assessment process via Hackerearth assessment and our academy.
  • Join the mthree Academy for 6 week intensive online/remote training with other graduates, focusing on areas like Linux, SQL, databases, Python, DevOps and much more.
  • Start a 12–24 month placement with one of our global clients, supported by frequent salary increases.
  • Most Alumni convert to permanent employees with the client after the program.

What You Need to Succeed

Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related STEM field (minimum 2:1).

Passion: Strong interest in Financial Markets and technology.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C).
  • Exposure to Network administration and security
  • Solid SQL database knowledge (e.g., Sybase, DB2, Oracle) for writing queries and analyzing logs.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging applications.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
