Junior Interior Designer (Part-Time)
Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire (Office-Based)
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: Part-Time, with the opportunity to progress into a Full-Time position.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their interior design career who is eager to gain hands-on experience working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
You'll work closely with the design team, assisting in the development of concepts, technical drawings, presentations, and project documentation while building valuable industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist with space planning and design development.
- Create client presentations and design packs using PowerPoint.
- Prepare mood boards and FF&E documentation.
- Edit and prepare presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support the team with project coordination and administrative tasks.
- Attend site visits and client meetings when required.

Requirements
- 0–1 years' experience in an interior design role (graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable
- Understanding of technical drawing packages and FF&E schedules.
- Full UK driving licence.
