About the role
We are looking for a Junior Intermediate-Track PI Fee Earner to join our team in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner, Solicitor or FILEX looking to develop their litigation career and take responsibility for a varied caseload of technical and complex personal injury claims.
You will manage your own caseload of non-portal PI claims, providing high-quality advice and support to clients throughout the litigation process while working towards individual and team targets.
Your caseload will include:
- Road Traffic Accident claims
- Employer and Public Liability claims
- Accidents at Work
- Accidents on the Highway
- Product Liability
- Occupiers' Liability
- Complex and high-value CICA matters
You will be responsible for progressing complex claims, including matters where quantum is expected to be between £25,000 and £100,000, while identifying opportunities for claims to move from the Fast Track into the Intermediate or Multi Track where appropriate.

About you
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and client-focused, with the confidence to manage a complex caseload and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will ideally have:
- Experience handling litigated personal injury claims.
- Solid experience in Employer/Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims.
- Experience of both pre- and post-litigation case handling.
- Experience preparing Schedules of Loss, including use of the Ogden Tables.
- Experience working with costs budgets, including lodgement, negotiation and amendments.
- A strong understanding of current Personal Injury procedures and rules.
- Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation tactics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- The ability to assess evidence, determine prospects and provide appropriate advice to clients.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work to targets and deadlines.

Minimum 5 years' experience in handling personal injury litigation claims is desirable, alongside a proven track record of managing and progressing litigated PI claims.
