Role Description
The Junior Intern role at IPH is an internship position based in Dhaka with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site activities with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- Supporting research projects
- Assisting with data collection and literature reviews
- Helping prepare materials for workshops, trainings, and community outreach initiatives
- Contributing to administrative tasks
- Maintaining documentation
- Assisting in coordinating events or online campaigns related to mental health awareness

Under supervision, the intern may help with client-facing programs by organizing resources, managing schedules, and providing general support to the professional team. This role offers structured learning opportunities and exposure to real-world applications of psychology and mental health practice.
Qualifications
- Interest or coursework in psychology, mental health, social sciences, or a related discipline, with a strong motivation to learn and contribute to community wellbeing.
- Research-related abilities, such as basic data handling, literature review, and careful documentation of information and findings.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including time management, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple projects concurrently.
- Communication skills, including clear written and spoken English, active listening, and a professional, empathetic approach when interacting with colleagues and service users.
- Comfort with common digital tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, online collaboration platforms) and willingness to learn new systems used in training and outreach.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, self-discipline, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior volunteering or exposure to mental health or community service settings is beneficial but not required.
