About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Internal Sales Representative to join our growing sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in sales within the building materials and construction distribution industry. Previous industry experience is an advantage but not essential – what’s most important is a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Working as part of a busy Internal Sales team, you will build relationships with customers, respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and support the wider sales team in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and friendly manner.
- Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities.
- Develop your knowledge of our products, suppliers and the wider construction market.
- Work closely with External Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure customers receive a high level of service.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and develop customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information within company systems.
- Assist with resolving customer queries and ensuring issues are followed through to completion.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

- Keen to learn about building materials and the construction industry.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, trade counter, construction or building materials would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
