Junior Investment Administrator
Location: Marple
Full-time | Office-based
About the Role
S&T Wealth Management is looking for a bright, organised and enthusiastic Junior Investment Administrator to join our team in Stockport.
This is an entry level opportunity and would be particularly suited to a school or college leaver, or someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in developing within the wealth management and investment industry.
Previous financial services experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will receive full training, and support will be provided from experienced colleagues.
Reporting to the Investment Administration Manager, you will learn how to provide high-quality administrative support across our investment and client servicing activities. As your knowledge and experience develop, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress within the business.

- Supporting the Investment Administration Manager and wider investment team
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration of client investment portfolios
- Processing client documentation, payments and transfers
- Assisting with ISA administration in accordance with HMRC requirements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
- Monitoring and processing daily correspondence, emails and documentation
- Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional manner
- Assisting with internal data collection and record keeping
- Tracking tasks and workflow to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
- Learning and following the firm's compliance procedures and regulatory requirements
- Providing administrative support and holiday cover for other members of the team
- Undertaking general office and administrative duties as required
What We Are Looking For
Previous investment or wealth management experience is not essential. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- A good standard of education, including English and Maths
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Confidence using computers and a willingness to learn new systems
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, or the ability to develop this quickly
- A professional, friendly and helpful approach
- The ability to work as part of a small team
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- An interest in financial services, investments or developing a career within wealth management

About S&T Wealth Management
S&T Wealth Management is an established wealth management firm based in Stockport. We are a small, experienced firm providing a personal and professional service to our clients.
Working within a smaller business means you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, understand how different areas of a wealth management business work together and make a genuine contribution to the team from an early stage.
This is a full time, office based position in Marple, so applicants need to be able to commute reliably to our office on a daily basis.
