Your Next Step into Investment Banking

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Investment Banking Associate to join a growing team based at The Gherkin in the heart of London's financial district.

This opportunity has been designed for someone at the early stages of their financial career who wants considerably more exposure, responsibility, and earning potential from their next position.

You will work alongside experienced investment professionals and gain practical involvement across transactions, corporate finance, capital raising, financial analysis, and client advisory work.

Rather than being restricted to purely administrative or observational responsibilities, you will be encouraged to become involved in real commercial activity and develop an understanding of how opportunities progress from initial research and analysis through to execution.

As your experience and performance develop, so will your responsibilities and earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the team across investment banking and corporate finance assignments
  • Assisting with live transactions, capital raising, and M&A-related activity
  • Conducting company, market, and sector research
  • Reviewing financial information and supporting valuation work
  • Helping prepare financial models, forecasts, and commercial analysis
  • Producing professional presentations, pitch materials, and client documentation
  • Identifying potential investment, acquisition, and business opportunities
  • Supporting due diligence and transaction processes
  • Working alongside senior colleagues during different stages of a deal
  • Developing relationships with clients, investors, and professional contacts
  • Contributing towards new business opportunities and commercial activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
