Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

As a Junior ITAD Operative, you will play an important role in preparing IT equipment for resale and assisting senior team members with the manual handling, sorting and logging of the equipment we receive. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, is eager to learn, and has a keen interest in technology and IT equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manual handling of equipment and materials
  • Accurately log and record equipment as it moves through the ITAD process
  • Separating material for precious metal recovery
  • Separating batteries for recycling
  • Identifying and separating items suitable for reuse
  • Organising and shrink-wrapping stock on pallets
  • General housekeeping and warehouse duties

About you:

  • Strong attention to detail while processing equipment efficiently
  • Prioritise workloads and manage time effectively to meet daily processing targets
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Keen interest in technology and/or IT equipment
  • The ability to undertake the physical demands of a manual handling role
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team (we're a small team we all help each other when needed)

Benefits:

  • 20 days' annual leave (additional days for length of service) plus bank holidays
  • Employee pension scheme
  • Travel season ticket loan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Company sick pay
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health Cash Plan

Things to Consider

You must successfully complete our employee vetting process, including a DBS check and providing a five-year employment, education and address history. Periods of education, unemployment or Jobcentre registration are acceptable.

We are part of a larger recycling facility, so this is a very different environment from general warehousing. You will be expected to work within the ITAD unit, which can be dusty at times and cold during the winter months.

This is a physically demanding role and will require regular manual handling as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Recorra takes health and safety very seriously and provides regular training and toolbox talks covering best practice for manual handling and warehouse operations.

Please Note:

Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
