As a Junior IT Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in enhancing the end-user experience by ensuring efficient, accurate call logging and upholding the integrity of data across our IT service management systems. You will identify operational needs and gaps, and contribute to the planning, implementation, and optimisation of workflows, processes, and systems within IT Service Operations helping us deliver a seamless, best-in-class service to our customers every day.
What you’ll do
User & Access Administration
- Create, update, and disable user accounts in line with operational requirements.
- Assign roles and permissions based on approved requests, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
- Assist with periodic access reviews to maintain security and compliance.
System Administration (Basic)
- Maintain user data and configurations across key IT systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, including resolving access issues, permission errors, and related queries.
- Support system testing efforts as and when required.

Reporting (Basic)
- Generate and distribute standard reports on a daily and monthly basis.
- Assist with data accuracy checks to uphold the integrity of operational information.
Where You'll Grow
- Automation & Reporting - Assist with initiatives to improve and automate reporting processes and operational workflows.
- Audit Support - Support internal and external audits by collecting and compiling required evidence and documentation.
- Process Documentation Help document and maintain IT operations processes and procedures, contributing to a well-structured knowledge base.

What you’ll bring
- 1 - 2 years' experience in an IT operations, service desk, or corporate end-user support environment (onsite and/or remote).
- Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting purposes.
- Basic troubleshooting skills comfortable resolving access, permissions, and user-related queries.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity across systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
- A relevant diploma, certificate, or degree
- Exposure to Service Desk tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and Microsoft 365 / Azure AD user administration basics.
- Experience with Okta, CRM platforms, or other enterprise systems.
- Basic reporting skills in Power BI or any other reporting software
- Any exposure to audit support, evidence collection, or process documentation.
