Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior IT Operations Engineer to take ownership of daily IT operations, user support, and endpoint management across our UK offices, while also providing essential support for office network and A/V infrastructure operations.

This role is based in the UK, reporting to EMEA IT Center. You will work closely with global and local engineering teams, studio partners, and business units to ensure high-performance, secure, and compliant IT service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

General IT Operations & User Support

  • Provide prompt Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and access management issues.
  • Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, hardware provisioning, and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Administer SaaS applications and enterprise corporate systems to ensure secure and efficient access.

Network Infrastructure Support

  • Assist in operating and maintaining office LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot basic network performance issues and security incidents.
  • Collaborate with vendors and global network teams on network upgrades and local infrastructure projects.

General Office AV Infrastructure

  • Support Audio/Video tools (Tencent Meeting/Zoom) for meeting rooms and end users.
  • Document IT/network and A/V architectures, SOPs, and technical diagrams.
  • Participate in broader infrastructure projects and contribute to regional IT improvement initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Passionate and self-driven engineer with solid knowledge of general IT operations and enterprise networking.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solver who thrives under pressure and handles ambiguity well.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, and collaborative, with a can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance daily productivity and IT operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, network support, or a related role.
