Are you passionate about technology and interested in starting a career in sales?

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Sales Apprentice to join our growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT industry while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You'll learn how to identify customer needs, generate sales opportunities, build relationships with businesses, and support the delivery of IT solutions. Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll receive structured training and support from experienced sales professionals. No previous sales experience is required, just a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

To be considered for the role:

  • You must be within 40 minutes commute of Ossett, please be aware we are not on a direct bus route.
  • Driving licence, would be desirable but not essential.

As an IT Sales Apprentice, you will:

  • Support the sales team with customer enquiries and administration.
  • Learn about IT products, services, software, hardware and cloud solutions.
  • Contact prospective customers by phone, email, and social media to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Qualify sales leads and identify customer requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and other sales documentation.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and lead generation activities.
  • Attend supplier and product training sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings and sales development programmes.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, bid responses and sales documentation.
  • Update and maintain customer information within the CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and enquiries.
  • Proactive follow up of leads generated by our marketing campaigns
  • Adherence to all Concorde Technology Group processes and procedures with reference to the ISO 9001 and 27001 accreditations.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge around the products and services offered by Concorde Technology Group.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of all activities regarding the named Customers including (but not Limited to) completion of Customer records on the Concorde Technology Group internal CRM sales tool.
  • Meet apprenticeship learning objectives and attend any required training sessions.
  • Any other tasks required for the role.

Skills and Experience

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • A genuine interest in technology and sales.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of basic sales principles.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Training to Be Provided

You will work towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification while gaining practical workplace experience, delivered through a combination of on-the-job learning and apprenticeship provider workshops.

As a Junior IT Sales Apprentice, you'll benefit from:
