This is an opportunity to develop your software engineering skills alongside experienced developers, contributing to applications that support a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, testing and maintenance of applications using Java and Scala.
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Investigate issues, debug code and contribute to code reviews.
- Build your understanding of credit trading and financial markets.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical subject, with a strong academic record.
- Between 0 and 2 years of development experience. Graduates with strong university projects are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills
- A solid understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to Scala, or an interest in learning it.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication and a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with SQL, Git, unit testing, APIs or Linux would be beneficial, alongside an interest in financial services.
