Junior Production Assistant Position
The Graphical Tree has a junior production assistant position available based at our Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire production site.
Job Description
The role is suitable for a school or college leaver, and whilst no experience is necessary, an interest in print and graphics, as well as a desire to make a career within the industry would be beneficial.
We are looking for an individual with a friendly, personable nature, a good work ethic and eagerness to learn. In return, we will teach you the role of large format production assistant from the beginning up.

The role will involve –
- Learning about the graphics industry and how and where it is in use
- Learning about large format print technology including:
- roll-to-roll printers
- flat-bed direct-to-media printers
- vinyl cutting
- routers
- print RIPs
- Learning production software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Hands-on production of graphics including:
- production and preparation of vinyl decals
- collation and packing of jobs
- despatch
- stock management
- general studio duties, such as cleanliness and tidiness

Training
- Regular feedback sessions every 3 months
- A training period that will last an initial 12 months (based on suitability from quarterly feedback)
- An ongoing position available if both parties feel the role is suitable to continue post-training period
Salary
- Starting salary based on age
- Salary reviewed after initial training period
