Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Lawyer at Veise. The Junior Lawyer will review, draft, and refine a variety of commercial contracts and legal documents used on the platform and within the company. Daily tasks include assisting with contract negotiations, supporting internal teams with legal queries, and helping develop standardized templates and terms of use for customers. The role involves conducting legal research on issues related to SaaS, data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance, and translating findings into practical guidance. The Junior Lawyer will collaborate closely with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure that Veise’s solutions align with applicable laws and industry standards.

- Strong foundation in contract law and commercial law, with experience drafting and reviewing agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and SaaS contracts.
- Knowledge of technology law domains, including data privacy, information security, and intellectual property as they relate to software and AI solutions.
- Ability to perform thorough legal research, interpret regulations, and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, clear drafting style, and strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; eligibility to practice law in at least one relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
- Prior exposure to in-house work, technology companies, startups, or B2B SaaS environments is beneficial.
- Interest in AI-driven technologies and willingness to learn about Generative AI and NLP applications in legal workflows.
