Job Title: Junior Legal Admin Assistant
Location: Manchester, Alderley Edge
Arrangement: Temporary 6 months to begin.

Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Alderley Edge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a law student seeking flexible work around their studies while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a busy private client legal practice.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support assisting with the day-to-day running of the office. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a professional manner are essential.
This role has been designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate student schedules. For the right candidate, there is the potential to progress into a full-time/permanent position or a paralegal role upon completion of studies or as business needs develop.

Duties
- Answering phone calls; directing client queries as appropriate and/or taking messages for call backs
- Electronic filing of incoming emails received by senior solicitors into relevant electronic matter files
- Manual filing of incoming post
- Scanning of original documents
- Time recording/inputting for fee earners
- Archiving of closed matters following the team closure procedures
- General administrative support to team members as required
What we are looking for:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft programmes such as Word & Excel
- Confident to speak to people face to face
- Ability to undertake various tasks at once
- Experience within a similar role/industry would be ideal, but not essential
- Excellent team player
Salary
Dependant on experience. To be discussed/agreed.
Arrangement
Full time available during holiday periods moving to part time (2/3 days) to suit around studies.
