Legal Counsel: Technology Scale-Up
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Central London
Duration: 3 to 6 months initially, with potential to extend on a longer term basis
Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
We are working with a fast-growing technology scale-up that is looking for an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join its team on an immediate basis.

- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
- Supporting the development and improvement of legal processes, systems and operations.
- Conducting legal research
- Advising on a broad range of day-to-day in-house legal matters.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to understand and manage legal and commercial risk.
- Exploring and leveraging technology, including AI tools, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal work, particularly across the commercial contract workstream and wider legal processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial legal experience, excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. Experience with technology, AI tools or legal technology would be particularly attractive, and the business is keen to work with someone who is enthusiastic about using technology to transform and streamline the legal function.
