Nomios' Mission

Nomios' mission is to build a secure and connected future, focusing on delivering top-tier cybersecurity services to our customers. Organisations across the globe depend on us to secure their digital infrastructures.

In support of our continued growth, we are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our legal team and support the UK&I business within a pan-European cybersecurity group. Based in Basingstoke, with the flexibility to work from our London office, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build broad in-house legal experience within a fast-growing international organisation.

Your Role as Junior Legal Counsel

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will work closely with commercial teams and colleagues across the wider Nomios Group, providing practical legal support on a broad range of matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career lawyer to develop a well-rounded in-house legal skillset within a fast-growing, private equity-backed international business. As part of a small and collaborative legal team, you will gain meaningful responsibility from day one and exposure to a wide variety of work, including commercial contracting, employment law, data protection, corporate matters, legal operations, and M&A activity.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Group-wide initiatives, legal technology projects, and business integration activities, while working with stakeholders across multiple European jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners, with a particular focus on IT and cybersecurity services, reseller, and vendor agreements.
  • Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for legal queries from UK&I colleagues, escalating to and coordinating with the wider legal team where appropriate.
  • Supporting the legal function on employment law, data protection (UK GDPR), and corporate matters as they arise.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to the UK&I business and highlighting potential implications to the wider team.
  • Contributing to Group-wide policies, contract templates, and legal technology initiatives.
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions and integration projects, including exposure to due diligence and post-completion matters.
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business and wider Nomios Group.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of legal processes and ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
