Junior Legal PA

Glasgow | Permanent

Our standard working hours are 9.00am-5.00pm. We operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model. As an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider flexible working requests.

The opportunity

Join a team where your expertise truly matters. Pinsent Masons is looking for a Junior Legal PA to join their Corporate team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator who wants to progress their career and who wants to develop PA skills in a Legal Firm.

  • This role sits within the Corporate department of the Glasgow office with a team of approximately 12 fee earners and 2 experienced PA’s
  • In this role you will develop your PA skills under the guidance and mentorship of experienced PA’s giving you an exceptional opportunity to grow your career.
  • You will work in an assistant capacity to the PA to Head of Office utilising your existing administration skills and developing PA skills
  • This is such an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Administrator to join a fabulous team and develop your Legal PA career

What you’ll do

Bring your experience to the table and play a key role in the success of our firm, building trusted relationships and delivering meaningful impact, including:

  • Develop and maintain business understanding
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • On-board new clients in line with Risk policies
  • Manage and co-ordinate meetings, appointments, and travel
  • Prepare and submit expenses
  • Responsible for end-to-end service delivery
  • Delegate and promote correct use of firm wide resources
  • Review and collate returned tasks
  • Research clients, potential clients and new business initiatives or opportunities
  • Assist with business development opportunities including preparation of bids, tenders, proposal documents, team sheets, brochures and client briefing documents
  • Update credentials database and fee earner CVs
  • Update fee earner social media channels
  • Effective use of CRM systems
  • Innovate and design to improve service area
  • Respond to practice group priorities

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you'll need to bring:

  • You will be an experienced Administrator or Junior PA from a Legal or other professional services background
  • Excellent administration skills including MS Office packages, document management and ideally comfortable with billing
  • Be enthusiastic and driven to develop your career as a Legal PA
  • Team player with the ability to also work autonomously
  • Adaptable to different working styles
