Junior Management Accountant
London | Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
PE-Backed, Multi-Site Business
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Management Accountant to join a growing, PE-backed multi-site business based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with 1–2 years’ relevant experience who is looking to develop their management accounting skills within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
Working as part of the wider finance team, you will gain exposure across month-end reporting, balance sheet management, cash flow reporting and financial analysis, while developing a strong understanding of the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries as part of the month-end close
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing and investigating variances and ensuring financial information is accurate
- Supporting cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Processing and reviewing accounting transactions, ensuring a sound understanding of debits and credits
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Working with different areas of the business to resolve financial queries and discrepancies
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
- Helping to improve processes and reporting across a growing multi-site organisation

You will ideally have:
- Practical experience of journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Exposure to cash flow reporting
- Some experience of month-end accounting
- Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
- The ability to work with large volumes of financial information accurately
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
