Junior Management Accountant | Milton Keynes | Hybrid
I’m currently partnered with a fast-growing, international recruitment and consulting group to appoint a Junior Management Accountant into their expanding finance team.
With a multi-brand operation and an international presence across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their management accounting career within a commercial, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider senior finance team, you’ll gain broad exposure across management accounting, reporting, and commercial finance, with genuine ownership of your own entity P&L and Balance Sheet.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Providing variance analysis and commercial insight across gross margin and overheads against budget and forecast
- Owning Balance Sheet reconciliations, including invoice discounting, and supporting month-end/year-end processes
- Supporting VAT reporting, statutory accounts, audit, and wider group financial analysis

What They're Looking For:
- Finance experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Assistant Accountant position
- Exposure to month-end, reconciliations, and/or management accounting
- Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
- A proactive, analytical, and commercially minded approach
- Someone studying towards, or looking to begin, AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
