Junior Manager
Location: On-site | Central London
Salary: £34,000-£36,000 + tips + bonus
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

We're looking for an ambitious Junior Manager to join one of London's most exciting bakery and retail concepts.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Supervisor or a strong Assistant Manager who's ready to progress into management. If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading people, and want to build a long-term career with a fast-growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
Working alongside experienced leaders, you'll receive the training, support and development needed to progress into a General Manager role. From leading busy services to understanding the commercial side of the business, you'll gain hands-on experience across every aspect of the operation.
No two days are the same. One minute you'll be leading the team through a busy breakfast rush, the next you'll be analysing sales, coaching colleagues, improving standards, and helping drive the continued success of an exciting and expanding brand.
Junior Manager - Bakery & Retail - What you'll be doing
Leading the operation
- Support the day-to-day running of the bakery and retail operation
- Lead shifts with confidence and energy
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience every day
- Maintain exceptional food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, waste management and supplier relationships
- Monitor labour, sales and operational KPIs
- Develop your commercial understanding by supporting profitability and business performance
- Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively
- Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns and local marketing initiatives
- Continuously look for ways to improve standards and efficiency

Junior Manager - Bakery & Retail - What we're looking for
Essential
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
- Experience as a Senior Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Café Manager, Bakery Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience working within hospitality, cafés, bakeries, restaurants or premium food retail
- A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ambition to continue progressing into a General Manager position

- Bakery or premium food retail experience
- Experience coaching and developing teams
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of KPIs
