Ready to Build a Career in Marketing & Business?
Looking for an opportunity where you can develop real business skills, work with people and build a career based on your own performance?
At Apollo Associates, we specialise in face-to-face marketing, customer acquisition and business development. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our team in Watford as Junior Marketing & Business Development Assistants.
This is a people-focused marketing role, not a digital marketing position. You’ll learn how businesses grow through direct customer engagement, brand representation and face-to-face marketing campaigns.
No Marketing Experience? No Problem.
You don’t need a degree in marketing or previous industry experience.
We provide full training, ongoing coaching and support from day one. We’re looking for people with the right attitude, communication skills and ambition to learn.
If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, customer service, events or any other people-focused environment, the skills you’ve developed could transfer extremely well into this role.
What Does Face-to-Face Marketing Involve?
Our approach is centred around creating genuine connections between brands and their customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
