Your new company is a fast-growing investment firm focused on backing innovative businesses solving some of the world's biggest sustainability and resource challenges. Operating at the intersection of venture capital, climate innovation and deep technology, the business invests in ambitious early-stage companies and works closely with founders to help them scale. Currently raising its next fund, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking for its first dedicated marketing and investor relations hire to help build its profile and support investor engagement activities.
Your New Role
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious junior marketer looking to gain exposure to venture capital, fundraising and investor relations. Working directly with senior partners, you will play a key role in ensuring marketing and investor engagement activity runs smoothly across the business.
You will be responsible for managing and growing investor mailing lists, maintaining CRM data, coordinating outreach campaigns, supporting investor events, and driving LinkedIn content and thought leadership activity. You'll help showcase portfolio companies, amplify industry insights, and support the firm's fundraising efforts through high-quality marketing execution.

This is very much a hands-on role. You'll be trusted with significant responsibility from day one and will have the opportunity to grow alongside the business as it continues to scale.
What You Need to Succeed
- Previous experience within marketing, communications, investor relations, events, CRM, or a similar coordination-focused role.
- Strong LinkedIn and social media understanding, with the ability to support thought leadership and content distribution.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence managing databases, mailing lists and CRM systems.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Comfortable working within a lean, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can move quickly.
- Naturally resilient, hardworking and ambitious, with a desire to learn and develop.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce professional content.
- An interest in venture capital, investing, startups, sustainability, climate tech or high-growth businesses would be highly advantageous.
- A humble but confident personality, capable of working closely with senior stakeholders and building credibility quickly.
