About the Role

The role offers the chance to join a creative, hardworking and supportive team of 4, with flexible working and plenty of opportunities to learn. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the business, develop a broad range of marketing skills and gain hands-on experience from the outset.
The work is varied and creative, with opportunities to contribute to photoshoots, exhibition designs, and other projects across the group. It’s a great role for someone who wants to build their confidence, bring fresh ideas and grow their career in marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across the Group’s brands.
- Help create sales tools, presentations, promotional materials and customer communications.
- Plan and gather content for The Thread school newsletter.
- Assist with photoshoot planning, preparation and delivery.
- Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, events and trade shows.
- Organise point-of-sale materials and assist with visual merchandising across stores.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Ecommerce, Product Design, Sales and Customer Services.
- Support the Graphic Design team with design boards and presentations for schools and retailers.
- Ensure marketing materials follow the relevant brand guidelines.
- Represent Marketing as an SER Star and help ensure activity meets SER requirements.
- Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, asset libraries.
- Provide general administrative support to the Group Marketing Manager and Marketing team.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good attention to detail and proofreading ability.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of current marketing and design trends.
- A marketing, communications, business or design qualification would be desirable.

Hours and Working Days
This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. A hybrid role working in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with two days working from home on Thursday and Friday.
Location
We are located in Altrincham, with free parking and good public transport links.
