Junior Marketing Executive

Description

Kick-start your marketing career with a hands-on role where curiosity, organisation and a positive attitude matter more than experience.

Role Overview:

  • Fixed term contract to December 2026
  • 35 hour week, Monday to Friday

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone at the start of their career who wants to gain broad marketing experience while supporting campaigns, events, data administration and day-to-day marketing operations.

You'll work alongside a supportive team, learning new skills and helping keep our marketing activity running smoothly.

What you'll do

  • Full training provided:
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple brands.
  • Build and schedule marketing emails using approved content and templates.
  • Assist with event administration, landing pages and online event platforms.
  • Update spreadsheets, prepare audience lists and help maintain accurate records.
  • Keep tasks, deadlines and project updates organised across our marketing systems.
  • Follow up on actions, approvals and missing information to keep projects moving.
  • Help create process documents, guides and checklists.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider marketing team

What you'll need to succeed:

Essential requirements:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues and asking questions when you're unsure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Eagerness to learn new systems, tools and ways of working.
  • A positive, reliable and team-focused approach.

Desirable requirements:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject.
  • Previous work experience, internship, placement year or part-time role in an office, administration or marketing environment.
  • Exposure to marketing, events, customer communications or data administration.
  • Experience using CRM, email marketing or project management platforms.
  • An interest in building a career within marketing operations

Important to know:

Location:

  • This is a hybrid role. Our preferred office location is Huddersfield where most of your colleagues will be based but if it's easier to get to our Wythenshawe office, then we're happy to consider that location as your base. We're looking for 2 days working from the office each week and the remainder from home.
