Junior MarTech Technical Analyst
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + bonus
Location: London – Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office
Employment: Permanent
The Opportunity
We’re working with an established digital and technology consultancy looking to hire a Junior MarTech Technical Analyst into its growing Marketing Technology team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their MarTech or Digital Analytics career who wants to build deeper technical expertise while working with major brands across sectors including retail, financial services, gaming, publishing, utilities, leisure and consumer goods.
You’ll work across digital analytics, tag management, implementation and testing, gaining exposure to platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch and Tealium.
The role combines hands-on technical work with client exposure, making it particularly suitable for someone looking to develop towards a career in MarTech consulting, digital analytics or technical implementation.
What You'll Be Doing
Analytics & MarTech Implementation
- Support the implementation of digital analytics and MarTech solutions.
- Work hands-on with JavaScript and/or HTML.
- Work with digital analytics platforms such as GA4, Adobe Analytics or Amplitude.
- Support implementations using Tag Management Systems such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch or Tealium iQ.
- Create and maintain technical specifications and implementation documentation.
- Translate business and client requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Understand both the detailed implementation requirements and the wider objectives of each project.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Carry out end-to-end testing of analytics implementations.
- Use browser developer tools, including network requests and console checks, to validate implementations.
- Conduct manual and automated testing prior to deployment.
- Identify bugs, tracking issues and potential defects.
- Help identify technical risks and issues throughout projects and support their resolution.
Client & Consulting
- Work closely with client marketing, digital and IT teams.
- Participate in discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews and requirements-gathering workshops.
- Contribute to solution-design and use-case workshops.
- Explain technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support ongoing client requests and project delivery.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to know every platform listed below. We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in developing a career within MarTech and Digital Analytics.
Ideally, you'll have:

- Some commercial experience within Digital Analytics, MarTech, Web Analytics or Technical Implementation.
- Exposure to JavaScript and/or HTML.
- Experience with at least one analytics platform such as GA4, Adobe Analytics or Amplitude.
- Exposure to a Tag Management System such as GTM, Adobe Launch or Tealium.
- An understanding of web analytics implementation and tracking.
- Experience testing implementations using browser developer tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to work with clients and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience within a consultancy, agency or technology environment would be beneficial but isn't essential.
