£26,000 - £32,000 + Full Training + Progression + Pension + Company Benefits

Are you a graduate, trainee or junior mechanical fitter looking to build your career with a specialist manufacturer of heavy recycling machinery, with full training and clear progression?
This growing engineering business designs and manufactures specialist recycling machinery, supplying heavy-duty equipment to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Junior Mechanical Fitter to join their skilled team and develop their mechanical fitting abilities.
You will be trained to assemble large-scale machinery including conveyors and screens, working from engineering drawings and gaining hands-on experience across the full build process. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive manufacturing environment.

This role would suit a graduate, trainee or junior mechanical fitter with some practical engineering experience looking for hands-on training, development and a long-term career in machinery manufacturing.
The Role:
- Assemble heavy recycling machinery including conveyors and screens
- Follow engineering drawings and work instructions
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment
- Work alongside experienced mechanical fitters
- Work independently as your skills develop
The Person:
- Some experience in a mechanical, engineering or assembly environment
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Able to read basic engineering drawings or keen to learn
