About the Role
Are you organised, technically minded and keen to build your career in sports media? We are looking for a Junior Media Manager to help keep our digital media organised, accessible and ready for production teams to use.
Sunset+Vine, the sports arm of Tinopolis Group, is a global sports media company producing live coverage, highlights and feature programming for UK and international audiences. We deliver more than 2,000 hours of original sports content each year from offices in London, Glasgow, Cardiff and Milan.
The Opportunity
Based in our Hammersmith office, you will be working with our Senior Media Manager and production teams to support the day-to-day management, movement and organisation of video and audio across multiple productions. From ingesting footage and responding to content requests to supporting edits and maintaining archives, you will help ensure media is accurate, easy to find and delivered on time.
We would love to hear from someone who enjoys working with digital media, has an interest in sport and is keen to develop their technical skills in a busy production environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ingest, organise, label and track video and audio using agreed workflows and naming conventions.
- Respond to content requests and deliver media in the correct format within production and broadcast deadlines.
- Check incoming footage, resolve or escalate missing or faulty media, and maintain accurate metadata and logs.
- Transcode files for editing or delivery and create selects, compilations and simple edits in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Support production archives through logging, cataloguing, backups and long-term storage.
- Keep media records accurate and consistent and help teams follow effective media-management practices.

What We Are Looking For
- Some experience in a media environment or working with digital archives.
- An interest in sport and a good understanding of sports content.
- Basic knowledge of video codecs, formats and resolutions, including H.264, ProRes and MXF.
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.
- Strong general IT skills, including basic troubleshooting on Mac and Windows.
- An organised, methodical approach, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing requests and deadlines.
- A proactive, dependable approach, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and take ownership of tasks.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with production, technical and editorial teams.
- Curiosity and a willingness to develop technical knowledge and improve workflows.
- Experience with Media Asset Management or Digital Asset Management systems, tape formats, digitisation, or QNAP or NAS storage would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Role Details
- Permanent full time contract
- The role is based in London. When not travelling for work, the successful candidate will need to work from the office five days per week.
- The role involves some unsociable hours, work on bank holidays and some weekend work on site when required.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK on a full-time basis for the full duration of the contract. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
