At Gravity Global, we believe our people are our greatest strength. We’re growing fast – across continents and disciplines – and we’re looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference: for our clients, our teams, and the world around us.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Junior Media Planner/Buyer to support the planning, buying, booking and delivery of publication campaigns across print, digital and specialist media environments.

You will help turn client objectives into well-researched publication recommendations, working with senior planners, buyers, media owners, publishers and internal teams. The role combines audience and market research, media-owner liaison, campaign administration, quality assurance and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and buying of publication campaigns across relevant print and digital titles.
  • Research publications, audiences, readership profiles, circulation, reach, engagement, environments and editorial context.
  • Help identify suitable titles and media opportunities based on client objectives, target audiences, markets and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate publication databases, media-owner contacts, rate cards, deadlines, specifications and availability information.
  • Request and compare proposals, rate details, added-value opportunities and availability from publishers and media owners.
  • Assist with media plan development, including titles, formats, positions, insertions, flighting, costs and projected delivery.
  • Prepare and issue briefs to media owners, ensuring objectives, audiences, creative requirements, timings and budgets are clear.
  • Support negotiation of rates, added value, make-goods and other campaign efficiencies under senior guidance.
  • Coordinate bookings, insertion orders, purchase orders, creative deadlines, materials and campaign confirmations.
  • Check publication schedules, page positions, creative specifications and delivery requirements before launch.
  • Liaise with publishers and media owners to resolve issues, confirm changes and ensure campaigns are delivered as booked.
  • Track spend, bookings, invoices, delivery and outstanding actions accurately.
  • Support post-campaign reporting, including delivery against plan, performance, audience outcomes, added value and learnings.
  • Maintain clear campaign documentation and follow internal approval, QA and governance processes.
  • Contribute to new-business proposals, media recommendations and publication landscape updates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
