Key Responsibilities
- Setting budgets for the season, presenting back to head of merchandising to support the business growth across the ladieswear division.
- Monitoring the BTA and WSSI forecast to ensure key KPIs are met and achieved for each seasonal half. Highlighting risks and opportunities in time to take appropriate action.
- Completing historical analysis, accurately calculating line buys to satisfy the departments OTB.
- Monitoring stock and intake to ensure company stock targets are met, adapting OTB where necessary to maintain optimal stock position.
- Working closely with buying and design teams to range building for upcoming collections. Setting the assortment plans, and communicating these to relevant teams ensuring this is achieved throughout sign off meetings.
- Managing the day to day of the department. Ability to deputise in absence of head of merch and support team in making decisions / running day to day.
- Working across functions within the business to maximise opportunities and overcome any issues.
- Assist with product launches, promotions, markdowns, and clearance activity.
- Run reports to support head of merchandising in decision making to support business growth.
- Trade - run reports and summarise weekly trade providing key insights and actions to drive opportunity and reduce risk. Presenting back to key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate product and merchandising information on internal systems.
- Support the Head of Merchandising with ad-hoc analysis and commercial projects.

- Previous experience working within the fashion industry, ideally with ladieswear experience.
- Ability to make decisions assessing risk and opportunity in order to drive trade and optimise sales and profit.
- Experienced in reporting using internal systems and has the capability of setting up reports from scratch on excel.
- You're resilient - able to adapt, respond and effectively work through challenges with a solution driven mindset.
- Ability to present complex data to senior management and CEO’s.
