Junior Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management Engineer to join our IT infrastructure and EUC team. The successful candidate will support the management, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Windows devices and endpoint technologies using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and management of Microsoft Intune environments.
  • Support Windows 10/11 device enrolment, provisioning, configuration, and compliance.
  • Assist with Autopilot deployment and device provisioning.
  • Create and maintain Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security policies.
  • Support application deployment through Intune, including Win32 applications and Microsoft Store applications.
  • Troubleshoot device enrolment, policy, application, and compliance issues.
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) joined and hybrid-joined devices.
  • Assist with endpoint security configuration, including Defender, BitLocker, and security baselines.
  • Monitor device compliance and investigate non-compliant endpoints.
  • Support patching and Windows update management through Intune.
  • Assist with mobile device management for corporate devices where required.
  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for endpoint and Intune-related incidents.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Work with senior engineers and infrastructure teams on endpoint management projects.
  • Follow security, change management, and IT service management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, EUC, Endpoint Management, or Microsoft technologies.
  • Hands-on or practical experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Good understanding of Windows 10/11 administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
  • Understanding of device enrolment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Autopilot.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Basic knowledge of endpoint security and device compliance.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows devices and applications.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPN.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
