We're hiring for a leading independent rail platform dedicated to empowering greener travel choices by connecting people and places. This company leverages cutting-edge technology to help millions of travelers find and book the best value tickets across various carriers and journey options through their highly-rated mobile app and website.
The Role
- Work within cross-functional teams alongside data scientists, software engineers, data engineers, and product managers.
- Support the design and delivery of machine learning models and AI solutions that contribute to measurable impact.
- Engage across the machine learning delivery lifecycle, including data exploration, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape data products that leverage extensive datasets.
- Contribute to the development of tools, frameworks, and libraries that accelerate ML and AI delivery and improve workflows.
- Participate in the AI and ML community, sharing learning and building experimentation skills.

What You'll Need
- A good working knowledge of Python, including open-source data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn.
- A background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline, gained through study or practical experience.
- Exposure to building or supporting machine learning models or AI solutions, through study, projects, or early career experience.
- An interest in areas such as predictive modeling, classification, regression, optimization, NLP, or recommendation systems.
- A curious, collaborative approach and strong communication skills, with an eagerness to learn from others.
- Familiarity with Spark or similar data processing tools is helpful.
