Junior Model Maker (Nightshift)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Aerodynamics Department as a Junior Model Maker (Nightshift).
Based primarily at our Red Bull Technology facility in Milton Keynes, you’ll work alongside a talented and experienced team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the precise manufacture of wind tunnel model components, often to tight deadlines. Strong manual skills and a sharp eye for detail are key to succeeding in this position.

We are looking for someone who can:
- Finish prototype components to a high standard, always aiming to enhance quality and reduce lead times.
- Apply knowledge of post-processing for SLA and SLS components to ensure accurate results.
- Utilize experience with mould making and casting techniques, contributing to high-quality model production.
- Support continuous improvement by adopting new systems, processes, and offering constructive feedback to boost departmental efficiency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
