Junior Network Engineer | Permanent | Hybrid
Permanent Position
Up to £45K DOE
London - Hybrid - 3 days in the office
About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your network engineering career? We're looking for a Junior Network Engineer with a proactive, driven mindset to join our client’s talented and expanding team in London.
You'll play a key role in supporting their rapidly growing tier one client base, working in an organisation building, scaling and improving network solutions that deliver for their clients. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact from day one, this is it.
What We're Looking For
We're after someone with 18 months+ experience in a support or Tier 2 network environment, ideally with some coding or automation knowledge. You'll bring strong switching knowledge and a solid understanding of VLANs, along with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.

Technical Skills Required
Core Networking
- CCNA (or equivalent knowledge)
- Strong IP capabilities and routing understanding
Ethernet & Switching
- VLANs
- MPLS
- Q-in-Q
- Ethernet Ring Protection Protocol
Network Automation
- Python
- SQL/PostgreSQL
- SNMP experience
- NetConf experience is a bonus, but not essential
Customer Support
- Day-to-day customer support and new service provisioning
- Strong written communication skills
- Confidence articulating faults and updates to clients via email and phone

Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of ADVA FSP150 platform
- Experience with Ciena 5000 series routers
