Your role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experienced Non-Conformance Design Engineers delivering solutions on high-profile aerospace and defence programmes. You will investigate and assess non-conformances on gas turbine engine components, working collaboratively across engineering disciplines to develop safe, compliant, and technically robust design solutions.
- Assess and investigate manufacturing and service-related non-conformances, ensuring compliance with design intent, safety, airworthiness, and quality requirements.
- Develop and substantiate engineering dispositions through technical evaluations, calculations, and close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, and Materials teams.
- Support the delivery of practical, cost-effective solutions while building expertise in gas turbine engine design, manufacturing processes, materials, and repair technologies.
Your profile
This role would suit an engineering professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will bring experience interpreting engineering data, applying engineering judgement, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions across complex engineering programmes.

- Engineering qualification or relevant industry experience, with aerospace and defence experience desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles, product lifecycles, technical drawings, and engineering assessments.
- Proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working accurately to tight deadlines while maintaining compliance with export control requirements.
