Junior Office Assistant

Pioneer Quality Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and capable Junior Office Assistant to join our team at our Manston office.

We are looking for someone who has a positive, can-do attitude and is happy to get involved in the day-to-day running of a busy office.

This role would suit someone who is organised, responsible, proactive, and able to manage different tasks throughout the day. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you must be willing to learn, use your initiative, and take responsibility for the work given to you.

The role will include:

  • General office administration and day-to-day support
  • Answering and making telephone calls
  • Monitoring and responding to emails
  • Updating records, spreadsheets, and internal systems
  • Preparing documents and correspondence
  • Assisting with staff schedules and site information
  • Filing, scanning, and maintaining organised records
  • Assisting with stock, supply orders, and deliveries
  • Following up on outstanding information and tasks
  • Supporting the Operations team with general day-to-day requirements

Although the role will mainly be office-based, we need someone who is flexible and willing to support the wider business when required. From time to time, this may include attending client sites, delivering supplies or equipment, assisting with site visits, and occasionally providing practical support on site if needed.

We are looking for someone who is:

Previous office experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone dependable, capable, and willing to develop within the role.

Being comfortable travelling to client sites when required is important, and a driving licence would be beneficial.

Working days: Tuesday to Friday
Location: Manston, Kent
Employment type: Part-time
Pay rate: £12.75 per hour
