About the Role

We are partnering with a major global energy player specializing in flexibility services and demand-side response (DSR) within the UK and Ireland markets. They are looking for a sharp, data-driven Junior to Mid-Level Operations Analyst to support their growing portfolio.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of market operations, data management, and grid flexibility ensuring that assets are successfully onboarded, market submissions are executed flawlessly, and settlements are managed with absolute precision.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious professional with 1 to 3 years of experience looking to cement their career in the fast-paced energy transition sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer & Asset Onboarding: Guide new clients and their assets through the registration pipeline, handling industry portals and market entries (e.g., MPANs and metering data).
  • Programme Enrolment: Manage the operational setup for flexibility and DSR programmes.
  • Data Validation & Analysis: Audit, clean, and validate large datasets, ensuring absolute accuracy in asset performance and portfolio reporting.
  • Market Submissions: Execute daily market operations, including price-quantity pairs and physical notifications.
  • Settlement Support: Resolve discrepancies, manage billing data, and support financial settlements.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Build reporting tools and dashboards to track portfolio performance and identify operational bottlenecks.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and optimize internal data systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
