Junior Operations Manager | SRS Group | Birmingham
🎉We've expanded into Liverpool and Newcastle 🎉 Now we're opening in Birmingham, and we're looking for the people to help us grow.
SRS Group is a people-centric customer acquisition business, working with multinationals across the telecoms, energy and automotive sectors. After successful expansions into Liverpool and Newcastle, our new Birmingham operation is next, and we're hiring a Junior Operations Manager to grow with it. This is a development role. You won't just support the business, you'll learn how all of it works. Within 12 months, our goal is for you to be a fully qualified junior manager.
The role
You'll work directly with our leadership team, learning the business from the inside across sales, recruitment and operations, while helping drive the growth of our initial Birmingham launch.
In practice, you'll:
- Build and maintain trackers, dashboards and performance reports
- Support the growth of our initial Birmingham launch and its day-to-day running
- Keep team structure, planning and reporting accurate and up to date
- Handle compliance, documentation and correspondence to a high standard
- Manage expenses, logistics and admin
- Prepare planning materials and reports for leadership meetings
- Spot problems early and improve how we do things

Your 12-month path
- Months 1-4: Learn our sales and training systems, including how performance is measured and how we develop our people.
- Months 5-8: Understand our recruitment processes, from attracting and assessing talent to onboarding and pipeline tracking.
- Months 9-12: Work closely with our senior team to learn the nuances of managing client contracts and help oversee our expansion plans.
By the end, you'll understand the whole business and be ready to step into a junior management role.
About you
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident in Excel or Google Sheets, and comfortable with data
- A clear, professional communicator
- Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn every part of a business
- Calm under pressure, with a strong work ethic
- Looking for a long-term career in management

What you get
