About QV Bioelectronics
Glioblastoma is the most aggressive primary brain cancer in adults, and survival rates have barely improved in two decades. QV Bioelectronics is changing that. We're building GRACE, the world's first fully implantable electric field therapy device for brain tumours. Backed by leading deep-tech investors and world-class neurosurgeons, we've secured £4.5m to take GRACE into first-in-human clinical trials. We're a growing team at Alderley Park, moving from design into verification, manufacture, and the clinical phase. If you want your work to matter, this is the place.
The Role
We need a Junior Operations & Quality Coordinator to support our Head of Quality, Head of Operations, and the engineering team. You'll sit at the centre of our quality and operational infrastructure as we develop a Class III implantable medical device, and your work will directly accelerate our path to patients.
What you'll do:
- Support the QMS: document control, maintenance of procedures, supplier qualification, internal audits, and KPI reporting for management reviews (QMRs)
- Maintain the approved supplier list and coordinate qualification activities
- Assist with regulatory documentation and technical file maintenance
- Coordinate procurement of components, consumables, and equipment; keep purchase orders and delivery timelines on track
- Manage shipping and logistics for prototypes, test samples, and clinical supplies (UK and international)
- Maintain project dashboards and trackers in ClickUp
- Coordinate with external test houses, contract manufacturers, and service providers
- Support day-to-day ops: facility management, calibration scheduling, and H&S compliance

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
