Junior Oracle Infrastructure & Database Engineer
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
On-site, 5 days per week
Due to the location and operational requirements of the role, candidates must be able to reliably travel to and from the workplace each working day.

Are you passionate about technology and eager to build a career across databases, infrastructure, cloud technologies, automation, and development?
We're looking for a Junior Oracle Infrastructure & Database Engineer to join our team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise Oracle platforms while developing skills across database administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud services, and automation technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Oracle platforms and their supporting infrastructure, gaining exposure to:

- Oracle Database Administration
- SQL and PL/SQL Development
- Linux and Windows Server Support
- Cloud Platforms including AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Automation and Scripting
- Platform Monitoring and Performance Optimisation
- Infrastructure and Operational Support
What We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Exposure to Linux or Windows Server environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine interest in technology and continuous learning
- Ability to follow documented processes and operational procedures
Desirable Skills
Experience or exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:
- Oracle Database
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Linux administration
- Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
- Backup and recovery concepts
- AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Git or other source control tools

- Interested in developing expertise across databases, infrastructure, and cloud technologies
