Junior Paid Social Executive | The Social Co.

Full-time · Hybrid (Durham)

We're expanding our team again.

Our paid social team is expanding once more, and we're looking for a Junior Paid Social Executive to join us. If you're passionate about social media, curious about data, and ready to build a career in performance advertising, we'd love to hear from you.

The Social Co. is a full-service social media agency built on creativity and measurable results. Our specialists across strategy, creative, production and performance work side by side to deliver campaigns that grow our clients' brands and hit their business goals. It's a collaborative, fast-moving environment where great ideas become content that performs.

The role

You'll support our senior paid social specialists in planning, building and optimising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and more. It's a hands-on role with plenty of room to learn and progress.

What you'll be doing

  • Helping plan, build and launch paid social campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Monitoring performance and spotting opportunities to improve results
  • Preparing reports and performance summaries for clients
  • Supporting audience targeting, budget management and ad copy and asset coordination
  • Making sure paid activity aligns with wider social and content strategies
  • Working closely with our creative, account management and strategy teams
  • Keeping the team and clients updated on campaign progress and outcomes

What we're looking for

  • At least one year experience in paid social platforms (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) and the ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • Data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret metrics and turn them into clear recommendations
  • Strong written communication and a sharp eye for detail across copy, assets and campaign setups
  • A genuine interest in social media trends, digital marketing and performance advertising
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and tasks
  • Confidence working with clients, including supporting presentations and status updates
  • A willingness to develop skills in A/B testing, audience segmentation and budget optimisation
