About the Role
Our client is a national, market-leading financial planning organisation with offices across the UK and an exceptional reputation within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Junior Paraplanner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their financial planning career, offering the chance to work alongside experienced Senior Paraplanners and Financial Planners within a highly respected organisation.
The successful candidate will provide senior administrative and lower-level paraplanning support to Senior Paraplanners, Financial Planners and clients, gaining valuable exposure across the financial planning process and developing their technical knowledge and paraplanning skills.
The Role
As a Junior Paraplanner, you will work closely with Senior Paraplanners and Financial Planners, supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative and lower-level paraplanning support to Senior Paraplanners and Financial Planners.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial planning and client documentation.
- Supporting the preparation of suitability reports and recommendations.
- Undertaking research and analysis as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of client meeting and review documentation.
- Liaising with internal teams and helping to ensure client requirements are dealt with accurately and efficiently.
- Developing your technical knowledge and paraplanning capability through structured training and on-the-job experience.
- Working as part of a collaborative team to deliver an exceptional client experience.

About You
Our client is open to candidates at different stages of their career and would ideally suit someone who is already working as a Junior or Trainee Paraplanner and has gained some experience undertaking paraplanning duties.
They would also consider an experienced Senior IFA Administrator who has completed some RO exams or similar qualifications and is now looking to move into a paraplanning position and take the next step in their career.
You will ideally have:
- Some experience within financial services, ideally within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment.
- Exposure to paraplanning, financial planning administration or a similar role.
- An interest in developing a long-term career within financial planning.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
- A willingness to study towards further professional qualifications.
