CACI Network Services is a rapidly expanding specialist IT and Networks consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within challenging and exciting environments with our major clients in Global Media, Banking, Government, Telecoms & Utilities.

The role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Junior PMO Analyst to support the delivery, governance, and reporting of a portfolio of business and IT change initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their PMO career who is keen to develop their project and programme management skills within a fast-paced transformation environment.

Working closely with the PMO Manager, Project Managers, and key stakeholders, you will help maintain project controls, reporting, governance processes, and portfolio documentation to ensure successful programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the PMO team in maintaining project and programme governance standards.
  • Assist with the production of weekly and monthly project status reports, dashboards, and management information packs.
  • Track project milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain project documentation, registers, and reporting templates.
  • Support project planning activities and ensure schedules are kept up to date.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, steering committees, and project reviews, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
  • Assist with change control processes and ensure documentation is maintained accurately.
  • Support resource tracking and budget monitoring activities.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites and project collaboration tools.
  • Ensure project documentation is stored, managed, and controlled in line with PMO standards.
  • Work with project teams to gather updates and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support across a range of transformation and technology projects.

Core skills, knowledge and experience required

  • 2-4 years' experience in a PMO, Project Coordination, Project Support, or Administration role.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and project life cycles.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation, reports, and governance artefacts.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across different teams.

Desirable skills (not essential)

  • Experience supporting IT, change, or transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Waterfall.
  • Exposure to portfolio reporting and governance processes.
  • Working towards a project management qualification (PRINCE2 Foundation, APM, PMP, or similar).
