Junior PR Account Executive
Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits
About the Role
The Opportunity Hub UK is recruiting on behalf of a growing independent communications consultancy seeking a motivated Junior PR Account Executive to join its fully remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in public relations while gaining hands-on agency experience supporting a range of B2B client accounts.
Working alongside experienced communications professionals, you'll contribute to PR campaigns, develop engaging content, build media relationships, and help deliver outstanding results for clients. If you're passionate about storytelling, enjoy writing, and are eager to learn in a collaborative remote environment, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of PR campaigns across multiple client accounts
- Draft press releases, media pitches, articles, blogs, and other written content
- Research journalists, publications, and industry trends to identify media opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts
- Monitor media coverage and prepare campaign reports
- Assist in coordinating interviews, press activities, and client meetings
- Keep account records organised and up to date
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service

Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field through employment, internships, or placements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A genuine interest in public relations and media
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
