Overview

We are currently looking for a Junior Press Assistant to join our London team on a permanent contract.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Press team, update and manage the company website, maintain the ZHA press archive, create press reports of published articles as required, and maintain the ZHA press database.

General day-to-day tasks

Main responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Press team, Architectural and other teams within ZHA
  • Update and manage the company website
  • Maintain ZHA press archive
  • Create in-house press archives for senior staff
  • Maintain ZHA contact database

Your profile

  • Understanding and appreciation for architecture, art, design
  • Desire to build a career in press and willingness to learn
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-reliant, highly motivated to take ownership of tasks
  • Work well within a team as well as independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is desirable
  • Proficient knowledge in using MS Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint etc) is essential
  • Experience using CMS (Umbraco) is advantageous
  • Administration experience and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in a press environment would be an advantage.
