Silver and Bow is hiring through Hosco in London.
Our lovely client in Chelsea is looking for a bright, bubbly graduate chef to join their household, someone at the very start of their career who's excited to grow into the private sector. You'll cook healthy, varied meals for the family, take care of the kitchen and food storage, lay the table, clean the dishes and be a great team player. This is a brilliant first step for a warm, enthusiastic cook/chef who is passionate about food and would like to enter the private household world.
The Role
- Planning and cooking lunch and dinner with plenty of variety, as well as healthy snacks and homemade treats for the family
- Menu planning, the weekly food order, and grocery shopping
- Keeping the kitchen, fridge and all food storage impeccably clean and organised
- Helping with school runs, errands and family logistics using the family car
- One weekend day per week while the family is in residence (they travel for four months across the year)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
