We’re hiring two Junior Product Managers to help shape and deliver the products our customers and colleagues rely on every day. From improving customer-facing experiences to enhancing the systems used across our shops, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, shaping solutions and delivering meaningful change.

Working as part of a growing Product team, you'll collaborate with engineers, designers and stakeholders across the business to define priorities, prepare work for development and ensure the products we deliver create real value.

We work in an AI-first, outcome-focused way, using customer insight, research and data to guide our decisions. You'll have the tools, support and freedom to develop your skills, improve the way we work and build a successful career in Product Management.

We can offer you:

About the role

This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role.

The base location for this role is Greggs House, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8BU.

What you'll do

  • Own your product features end-to-end, bringing together customer and colleague insight, business priorities and technical expertise to shape solutions and deliver meaningful outcomes
  • Build a deep understanding of our customers and colleagues by gathering feedback, conducting research and analysing data to identify needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Define and prioritise product requirements, translating ideas into clear user stories and outcomes for development teams
  • Champion evidence-based decision making, balancing customer needs, business priorities and data-driven insight to shape product direction
  • Work day-to-day with designers and engineers to continually improve our products and enhance the user experience
  • Continually test and improve products to deliver enhancements that create value while maintaining reliability and performance
  • Use data and analytics to uncover insights, answer key questions and make informed product decisions, collaborating with the Data team to explore more complex opportunities
  • Measure the impact of product improvements after launch, using insights and feedback to inform future priorities and decisions
  • Work in an AI-first way, using AI tools to support research, analysis, prototyping and problem-solving, allowing you to focus on high-value product thinking
  • Contribute to the evolution of product practices and ways of working, helping to shape how the team operates and delivers value
  • Build strong relationships across the business, developing a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and fostering trust through clear, informed communication
  • Work closely with support and operational teams to review feedback and issues, ensuring the most impactful opportunities and challenges are prioritised

About you

You’ll fit right into this role if you:

  • Have a genuine curiosity about customer and colleagues and enjoy getting to the root of a problem before jumping to a solution

  • Are comfortable with using data to inform decisions, uncover insights and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Have a test and learn mindset, using experimentation and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, adapting your approach to different stakeholders and ensuring key messages are clearly understood
  • Can confidently balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining focus on delivering the greatest impact
  • Embrace AI first ways of working and are keen to explore new tools and technologies as they emerge
  • Bring a positive, proactive, hands-on style, and the drive to improve how the team works
  • A genuine desire to build a career in Product Management and developing your experience
  • Have some exposure to product development whether in a previous role, a placement, a course, or a personal project
  • A passion for contributing towards an adaptive, fun and creative environment at Greggs

Though not essential, we’d like to hear if you:

  • Have experience translating requirements to user stories and working closely with development teams
  • Bring experience of using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude
  • Are familiar with backlog tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Have experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Braze or Power BI
